Join our client's dynamic team as a Staff Auditor , where you'll play a pivotal role in conducting financial and operational audits. You'll collaborate across departments to maintain policies and procedures while sharing best practices. We're looking for an independent self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a drive for quality results. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential!
Staff Auditor Key Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships with audit individuals and departments to facilitate audit execution.
- Conduct business unit interviews and research areas to understand processes subject to audit.
- Assist in designing and documenting audit programs and test plans.
- Document work performed to support observations and conclusions.
- Ensure risks are appropriately identified and scoped for testing.
- Communicate professionally with audit clients and keep supervisors informed of audit status.
- Document test results and share observations with audit clients.
Staff Auditor Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years of professional audit, accounting, or business experience.
- Critical thinking skills to identify risks and offer solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Professional Certifications preferred: CPA, CIA, CFE.
- Experience in a large company environment is also preferred.
This position is 4 days in-office and requires 20-25% travel across all of the United States
